The Bowlsaver is the only coring product integrated with the lathe tailstock for safety. Unlike other Hollowing products, the Pro-Forme range doesn't require the gauge to be adjusted. The Pro-Mount supports the growing trend for hands free turning, enabling the project to remain in the chuck off the lathe.

BowlSaver Coring System for Coring Bowl Blanks 3" to 12"
Saving money by producing several bowls from a single block of wood is safe and easy. Cuts bowls from 3" to 12"
SAFE AND EASY FOR ALL LEVELS - The only coring device which is integrated with both the tool rest tail stock, making it the safest coring device on the market. Easy to operate meaning turners of all levels can use it.
SAVE MONEY AND TIME - Create multiple bowl blanks , no additional blade purchases required. The BowlSaver includes two high strength blades (used one at a time) with Stellite Cutters giving a combination of cuts that will remove bowls from 3" to 12" up to 5" deep from the inside of the mother bowl.
LATHES 1HP AND UP - Can be used on almost all Woodturning Lathes, from 12" to 16" swing with 1HP and up. 1" tool post included however, each lathe has a different diameter tool post so you may need to order a tool post to suit the lathe you are using if not 1". Set it up and start saving wood.
PREDICTABLE RESULTS EVERY TIME - The long lasting Stellite cutter will produce up to 500 bowls before needing to be re-sharpened. The Woodcut Tools BowlSaver works with green or seasoned wood, accurately remove a perfect bowl every time. A template pattern to determine bowl depth is included, or purchase a Light Guide to make this even easier.

The Woodcut Tools BowlSaver accurately removes a perfect bowl every time. Long lasting Stellite cutter will produce up to 500 bowls and works with green or seasoned wood.
It is the only coring system which is supported by a Morse taper that fits into the tailstock of the lathe, along with the security of knowing the BowlSaver couples to the lathe via the lathe tool post. (It comes as a standard with a #2 Morse taper, alternative sizes available is required). This design gives a solid support and reduces vibration.
The BowlSaver will fit almost all lathes large and small, from 12" to 16" swing with 1HP and up. Woodcut Tools have a range of tool post options available sold separately. Please contact us should you require assistance with this.
The BowlSaver has two blades, which are used one at a time. The blades give a combination of cuts that will remove blanks from 3” up to 12” from the inside of the mother bowl. The cutters come sharp and ready to start coring. To re sharpen simply lightly sharpen with a Woodcut Tools Credit Card Hone, or similar. A comprehensive user guide is included as well as a template pattern to determine bowl depth included. The BowlSaver comes with a handle which can also easily be used for any 1/2" dia. tools.
A BowlSaver Light guide is also available as an additional purchase.
Tru-Grind Sharpening System
Choose the Tru-Grind Sharpening System if you want a complete, simple to use system to produce true and razor sharp tools every time.
The Tru-Grind Jig locks securely into place ensuring you are repeating exact sharpening degrees for each tool, therefore speeding up the process and saving tool length. No more mucking around to get the correct sharpening angle each time. This single jig will take tools up to 1-1/2" in diameter. Unlike other systems there is no need for several jigs or multiple accessories
Our jig simply sharpens the following tools WITHOUT any other fiddly accessories required.

- skews
As well as offering a wide range of sharpening solutions for turning tools, including mini tools, it can sharpen a wide range of tools for carving and carpenters. With a small amount of adjustments it can sharpen drill bits as well.

EASIEST JIG - The very easy lock and rotate system, unlike any other companies jig, means you don't need to fiddle around getting the right angle each time.
Base slides feature a dual pivot points for versatility. They are also compact in size as due to our unique Tru-Grind jig design there is no need for a huge base slide like other systems on the market. Fits most popular brands of 6" or 8" dry bench grinders such as Rikon or Jet.System

Pro-Mount Carving Stand
Born out of the need to hold chuck mounted turned work for embellishing.
360 DEG. ROTATION - Two independent locking levers means you can rotate your work horizontally as well as vertically. The outer lever controls horizontal rotation allowing you to turn your work a full 360 deg. The inner handle controls vertical rotation also 360 deg. There is great advantage in being able to adjust your work one plane at a time.
STURDY AND VERSATILE - Once the levers are locked your work will not move and carving or decorating can commence. The bench stand has slots in the base to allow mounting on your bench, wall, a milling machine cross slide or pillar drill table.
LATHE TO CARVING TO LATHE - A freshly turned vessel can be moved onto the Pro-Mount whilst remaining in the woodturning chuck allowing it to then be put directly back onto the lathe to finish turning once completing your embellishment or carving.

This is far more than a carving stand. Choose the correct spindle for your lathe and this give you the option of mounting a woodturning chuck with the same thread onto the Pro-Mount. Turners can screw a freshly turned bowl directly onto the Pro-Mount for embellishment and decoration while the bowl is held in the jaws of the chuck.
The Pro-Mount spindle has a hole through the centre and a 1/4" BSP thread at its base for an airline fitting. This gives the option of using a vacuum chuck as a means of workholding.
The bench stand post doubles as a 1" tool post with a 1/2 inch UNF, which offers the choice of mounting your Pro-Mount on your lathes banjo. Each lathe requires a different diameter tool post so if you require a different size tool post you will need to purchase this separately.

Pro-Forme Intermediate Kit
The most popular Pro-Forme Hollowing kit option. Includes the straight plus bent head for cutting under the shoulder of the hollow form.

The Woodcut Pro-Forme hollowing system includes a hardened M2 high speed steel cutter that is open on the side to prevent clogging, which is common with other end grain/hollowing tools. The adjustable safety gauge determines the depth of cut and prevents dig-ins. Each cutter can be sharpened using a diamond hone. If required the cutter can also be replaced.
EASY TO USE, NO NEED TO ADJUST CUTTERS - Unlike other tools you don't need to keep adjusting the cutter. The cutter is hardened M2 high speed steel that is open on one side to prevent clogging, which is a common problem with other end grain/hollowing tools. It also cuts at much slower speeds eg. 500 rpm, minimizing secondary shavings.
SIMPLE TO SHARPEN - Easiest hollowing tool to sharpen. Simply use a diamond file, such as the Woodcut Tools Credit Card Diamond Hone
CROSS AND END GRAIN - Designed for cross and end grain scenarios as well as dry and green wood. Hollow forms up to 13" deep, and even deeper in conjunction with the Woodcut Irons Tool Rest.

The straight shaft is designed to produce the opening and remove the wood down the sides and across the bottom of the vessel. The bent shaft is required for getting under the neck of your hollow forms.
The 20" (508mm) spigot handle has a comfortable cushioned grip for long periods at the lathe and if required two handles can be fitted together for extra length if required.
The Woodcut Pro-Forme is designed to hollow both side and end grain on green or dry wood. However, for an optimal hollowing experience, Woodcut Tools recommends the cutter is regularly sharpened and green wood is used. For guidelines on how to sharpen the cutter please refer to page 6 of the User Manual available.
All Pro-Forme tools feature a heavy duty 5/8" diameter shaft that will reach up to 10" over the tool rest.
The Pro-Forme Intermediate Kit includes a handle, cutter heads, straight and bent shafts.
Additional Accessories:
- The Pro-Forme Scraper Head - designed for normal or shear scraping to reduce the need for sanding. The Scraper Head replaces the Power Head on the shank that is best suited for the turning. Two scraper cutters are included with the scraper head.
- Irons Tool Rest - The Irons Tool Gate reduces the, usually, unsupported length of your hollowing tool.
Mill Drill
The Woodcut Tools Mill Drill has been designed by turners, for turners. Designed to make the production of pepper grinders that utilize the CrushGrind® type mechanism.
EASY TO USE - Simple design to speed up your production of peppermills. Specifically designed for, but not limited to, using the CrushGrind® mechanism.
ONLY TOOL NEEDED FOR DRILLING - A versatile tool which incorporates a No2 Morse Taper so it will fit into the tail stock of most lathes. With some adjustment to the cutters it can be used to cut a wide range of hole sizes making it unnecessary to buy a number of drill bits. Can be used to hold Forstner drill bits with a 0.39 inch shank.

Tru-Grind CBN Wheel

CBN wheels outperform common stone wheels in many ways. Features: Made from a steel core and will run smoother on all grinders.
NO WEAR - CBN wheels retain their shape and size so no resetting of your jigs.
FINE AND EVEN FINISH TO WOODTURNING TOOLS - 180 grit gives a fine and even finish to your tools with only light pressure required.
NO BURNT OR BLUE EDGES - Cool cutting provides no burnt or blue edges with a smooth grinding experience from 100 to 3500 RPM.
NO DRESSING OR CONDITIONING REQUIRED - A CBN wheel is designed for sharpening high speed steels and will withstand the friction from grinding with much less heat produced than a diamond wheel.
Designed for use with bench type grinders; 1800 RPM (Preferred) or 3600 RPM. CBN material is on the face and sides (1/4") of the wheel. Balanced in the manufacturing process and never need "Truing" or "Dressing" They can make an inexpensive grinder perform almost as well as an industrial grinder.
Designed for sharpening woodturning tools (High Speed Steel only) and not designed for Tungsten Carbide or Carbon steel.
Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) is one of the hardest materials in the world. It is just slightly below Diamond on the hardness scale. CBN grinding wheels have been used in manufacturing processes for many years and are now available for common bench grinders. CBN crystals are electroplated on to a precision steel grinding wheel substrate resulting in the finest grinding wheels available today.
